In dieser empirischen Studie liegt mit dem adaptierten Figurationsbegriff eine neue Analysekategorie für die erziehungswissenschaftliche Biografieforschung vor, die Lernen und Bildung in ihrer lebensgeschichtlichen Formung und Gestaltbarkeit in den Blick bringt. Lernfigurationen veranschaulichen die Performativität und Prozesshaftigkeit des biografischen Lernens und Sich-Bildens. Aus biografisch-narrativen Interviews und Mindmaps werden charakteristische Lernfigurationen rekonstruiert und in einer fallübergreifenden Analyse zu drei Typen bzw. zu einer Gesamttypologie zusammengeführt.
