Die Wirkung von Narrationen auf Prävention und Gesundheitsförderung

Anja Kalch erforscht im Rahmen von drei Experimentalstudien die Wirkung von Erfahrungsnähe in narrativen Gesundheitsbotschaften auf stellvertretende Erfahrungen, sozial-kognitive Faktoren und Gesundheitsintentionen. Dabei werden sowohl Themen der individuellen Gesundheitsförderung – Impfungen, Herz-Kreislauf-Vorsorge und Bewegungsförderung – als auch Themen der gesellschaftlichen Gesundheitsförderung – Erste-Hilfe-Kenntnisse und Stammzellenspende– betrachtet. Ähnlichkeit und Handlungserfolg werden als abschwächende bzw. verstärkende Faktoren für die Wirksamkeit analysiert. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass Erfahrungsnähe ein relevantes Merkmal für die Wirkung von narrativen Erfahrungsberichten in Gesundheitsbotschaften zum präventiven und gesundheitsförderlichen Verhalten ist. In Gesundheitsbotschaften zur gesellschaftlichen Gesundheitsförderung erwies sich zudem Ähnlichkeit als verstärkendes Merkmal für den Einfluss der Erfahrungsnähe.
