Franziska Wittau setzt sich mit den Prozessen der Konsum- und Verbraucherbildung vor allem aus dem Blickwinkel der unterrichtenden Lehrkräfte auseinander. Die Autorin fokussiert sich im Besonderen auf Deutungsmuster, die die Gestaltung erfolgreicher Konsum- und Verbraucherbildung in den Augen der Lehrkräfte prägen. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Interviewstudie lässt sich rekonstruieren, wie stark das professionale Handeln gerade im Bereich der Verbraucherbildung in Milieu, Habitus und alltäglicher Lebenspraxis verwurzelt ist. Hieraus lassen sich Rückschlüsse für die Professionalisierung von Lehrkräften vor allem in der sozialwissenschaftlichen Domäne ziehen.
