Über den Autor
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Schulenberg studierte Physik und Maschinenbau undpromovierte auf dem Gebiet der natriumgekühlten Reaktoren. Während seiner vierzehnjährigen Industriekarriere entwickelte er Gasturbinen für konventionelle Kraftwerke. Seit 2000 war Prof. Schulenberg Leiter des Instituts für Kern- und Energietechnik des Karlsruher Instituts für Technologie und hielt dort Vorlesungen über konventionelle Kraftwerkstechnik ebenso wie über Kernkraftwerkstechnik. Als Mitglied des Lenkungsausschusses für wassergekühlte Reaktoren der vierten Generation engagierte er sich viele Jahre aktiv im Generation IV International Forum.
