The 1st International Conference on Health, Science, and Environment (ICHSE) aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, industry representatives, postdoctoral fellows, and research scholars around the world to share their knowledge and research expertise, to discuss in the area Health, Science, and Environment as well as to create a prospective collaboration and networking on various areas. The proceedings include a selection of 17 papers from 145 papers submitted to the conference from academic institutions, universities, and industries all over the world. We thanks to our Keynote Speaker Prof. Masato Iguchi (Sakurajima Volcano Research Center, Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University, Japan), Prof. Fumitaka Fujita (Osaka University, Japan), Dr. Akaraphol Watcarawipas (Mahidol University, Thailand), Dr. Ronn Goei (Carl Zeiss, Singapore), and Dr. Meezan Ardhanu Asagabaldan (Institut Teknologi Sumatera, Indonesia) for their constant support and guidance. It was also a great pleasure to work with such an excellent organizing committee for their hard work in organizing and supporting for the event. The accepted papers were subjected to strict peer-reviewing by 5 expert referees. The papers have been selected for this volume because of quality and the relevance to the topics.
