Taiping Chang, PhD in classical Chinese, University of Washington, served as the executive editor of the Culture & Civilization of China series, Yale University Press. She is the co-author of Ancient and Early Medieval Chinese Literature - A Reference Guide, in 4 volumes. She currently serves as the executive editor and translator of the Hong Kong based Splendid Chinese Civilization project, an encyclopedic history of Chinese civilization.
