Duc Truong Pham (OBE, FREng, FLSW, FSME, BE, PhD, DEng, CEng, FIET, FIMechE) holds the Chance Chair of Engineering at the University of Birmingham. His research is in the areas of intelligent systems, robotics and autonomous systems and advanced manufacturing and remanufacturing technology. He has published over 600 technical papers and books and has graduated more than 100 PhD students. He is a recipient of several awards including five prizes from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the World Automation Congress and a Distinguished International Academic Contribution Award from the IEEE. He is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Learned Society of Wales, the Society for Manufacturing Engineers, the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Yaguo Lei is a professor in mechanical engineering of Xi’an Jiaotong University, P. R. China. He ever worked at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany as an Alexander von Humboldt fellow and at the University of Alberta, Canada as a postdoctoral research fellow. His research interests include health condition monitoring and intelligent maintenance, big-data era intelligent fault diagnostics and prognostics, reliability evaluation and remaining useful life prediction, mechanical signal analysis and processing, and mechanical system dynamic modeling. He has accomplished four monographies and published more than one hundred peer-reviewed papers. He is a fellow of ASME, IET and ISEAM, respectively, and the associate editors/ the editorial board members of IEEE TIE, IEEE-ASME TMECH, MSSP, etc.
Dr. Yanshan Lou is currently professor of Mechanical Engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University. His research includes plasticity and fracture characterization, sheet metal forming, lightweight design, crash analysis, etc. His ductile fracture criteria and yield functions are commercialized by Anays LS-DYNA as *MAT_LOU-YOON_Anisotropic_Plasticity. He received the O.C. Zienkiewicz Award in 2019, and the Int. J. Plasticity Young Research Award in 2021. He serves as the editorial board member for Int. J. Plasticity, Int. J. Mater. Form. and Advances in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.
