Dr. Akash is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Government College University Faisalabad, Pakistan. He earned his PhD in Pharmaceutical Analysis from Zhejiang University, China and has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical sciences, with over 200 publications, a cumulative impact factor exceeding 1000, 12,000 citations, and an h-index of 55. His academic contributions include authoring 70 book chapters and nine books in reputed publisher. His research focuses on unraveling molecular and metabolic pathways to understand the effects of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) on metabolic health. He also develops innovative therapeutic strategies to manage EDC-induced metabolic disorders and he is deeply involved in academic development and scientific communication. He has developed 18 courses for MPhil and PhD programs in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, demonstrating his dedication to education and curriculum enhancement. Additionally, he serves as an Associate Editor for 10 prestigious scientific journals and is an active reviewer, further cementing his reputation in the scientific community. His professional affiliations include memberships in various scientific organizations, reflecting his collaborative approach to advancing pharmaceutical sciences. Recognized for his exceptional contributions, He has received multiple awards, including four Research Productivity Awards from the Pakistan Council for Science and Technology, the PAS Gold Medal in Health Sciences from the Pakistan Academy of Sciences, and the A.R. Shakoori Gold Medal in Biological Sciences from the Zoological Society of Pakistan. Dr. Kanwal Rehman currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at The Women University, Multan. In her administrative roles, she has held pivotal positions, including Chairperson of the Department of Pharmacy and Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at The Women University, Multan. She has also served as Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) and Chairperson of the Department of Public Health. She got her Bachelor's in Pharmacy and MPhil Pharmacology degrees from The University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, and afterward achieved her PhD in Pharmacology from Zhejiang University, China. She has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Prof. A.R. Shakoori Gold Medal from the Zoological Society of Pakistan and the PAS Gold Medal from the Pakistan Academy of Sciences in 2023. Her extensive publication record comprises 180 research articles, with a total impact factor of 750, more than 12000 citations, and an H-index of 54, highlighting her contributions to Pharmacology and related disciplines. In addition to her academic work, she is actively involved in industry collaboration and has secured approximately five research projects funded by reputable agencies such as the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and the Deanship of Scientific Research, Jouf University, KSA. With a passion for advancing science and innovation, she continues to be a driving force in shaping the future of research and education in Pakistan and beyond.
