Prof. Pak Kin Wong received the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, in 1997. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering and Dean of Graduate School, University of Macau. His research interests include automotive engineering, fluid transmission & control, mechanical vibration and medical engineering. He has published over 280 scientific papers in refereed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings. 166 out of them are SCI-E journal papers. Dr. Wong has been listed as World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University.
Prof. Jun Xu is currently a professor and a Ph.D. supervisor with School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. He is the Deputy Director of Department of Industry-Education Integration and Achievement Transformation, Institute of Science and Technology, XJTU. He is the director of the Digital Energy Research Institute, and the director of the Energy Storage and Inverter Institute. He serves as IAAM Fellow, IEEE Senior Member, the Vice Chairman of Shaanxi Power Supply Society, the Chairman of Youth Working Committee of SAE-Shaanxi, the Associate Editor of journals, and Conference Chair/Co-Chair of several Academic Conferences, etc. His research interests include design, modeling, and control of battery systems, electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, and robots. Jun Xu has been the Principal Investigator of more than 30 research grants,published more than 120 academic papers (including 6 ESI highly cited papers), authorized more than 20 invention patents, and served as conference Plenary/keynote /invited speakers for more than 20 times. He has received 4 scientific research awards as the 1st finisher, including the second prize of Shaanxi Province Natural Science, and 2 teaching awards as the 2nd finisher.
