Mohammad Oves is an Associate Professor at the Center of Excellence in Environmental Studies, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. With a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Aligarh Muslim University, India, his research focuses on environmental microbiology, nanotechnology, antimicrobial agents, and bioremediation. Dr. Oves has significantly contributed to the field of nanomaterials bio-fabrication, studying their applications in combating multidrug-resistant pathogens and environmental pollutants. His prolific research has resulted in over 125 peer-reviewed publications, with more than 12,500 citations and an impressive h-index of 50. Recognized among the Top 2% Scientists Worldwide, Dr. Oves has secured multiple prestigious research grants, focusing on areas such as nanomaterials for antimicrobial applications and environmental decontamination. He is a top reviewer on Web of Science for grant proposal and research articles. He has served as a visiting researcher at Tohoku University, Japan, and has collaborated extensively with institutions like King Saud University and global universities. Dr. Oves has also edited prominent books on nanotechnology, environmental sciences, and biomedicine. As a dedicated mentor, Dr. Oves supervises Ph.D. and Master's students, fostering research in microbial interactions, nanotechnology, bioenergy, and environmental sustainability. His commitment to advancing microbiology and nanoscience continues to impact both academia and industry.

Anish Khan is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Centre of Excellence for Advanced Materials Research, Faculty of Science, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He completed his Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University, India, in 2010 and his postdoctoral in electroanalytical chemistry at the School of Chemical Sciences, University Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2010. Over the past 3 years, he has been listed as a World 2% Influential Scientist. He has published more than 450 international publications that include research articles (around 300), edited books (more than 50), review articles (more than 20), book chapters (around 107), and two United States patents. He has a Google Scholar h-index of 51 and over 10,000 citations. He is a Member of the American Nano Society and an editorial board member of different international journals, including the Journal of Natural Fibers (Q1). His field of specialization includes polymer nano-composite, cation-exchangers, chemical sensors and microbiosensors, nanotechnology, the application of nanomaterials in electroanalytical chemistry, material chemistry, ion-exchange chromatography, and electroanalytical chemistry. His research focuses on the synthesis, characterization (using different analytical techniques), and derivatization of inorganic ion-exchanger by incorporating electrically conducting polymers. This includes the preparation and characterization of hybrid nano-composite materials and their applications, polymeric inorganic cation-exchange materials, electrically conducting polymeric materials, composite material use as sensors, green chemistry by remediation of pollution, heavy metal ion-selective membrane electrode, and biosensor on neurotransmitter.

 

Majed Al-Shaeri is an esteemed Associate Professor of Environmental Toxicology in the Department of Biological Sciences at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. He serves as the Director of the Environmental Protection & Sustainability Laboratory (EPS), the Toxicology Research Group, and heads the Electron Microscopy Unit. Dr. Al-Shaeri earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology and an M.Sc. in Nano-Ecotoxicology from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK. His expertise lies in nanobiotechnology, nanotoxicology, ecotoxicology, and the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials. His research focuses on the eco/toxicity of nanomaterials, their biomedical applications, and their environmental impact, including nanotoxicity on microbial genomics and proteomics. He has published extensively in high-impact journals, contributed to book chapters, and actively participates in international conferences and workshops. As a recognized expert, Dr. Al-Shaeri has collaborated with various industries and governmental bodies, focusing on environmental health and nanomaterial safety. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology and holds memberships in numerous scientific societies, including SETAC and the Society of Toxicology. Dr. Al-Shaeri continues to advance research in environmental and nanotoxicology, contributing significantly to human health and environmental protection.
