Dr Nikhil Kumar Marriwala, an Assistant Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering at UIET, Kurukshetra University, holds a B-Tech, M-Tech, and PhD in Engineering & Technology, with a specialization in Electronics and Communication. With over 22 years of teaching experience, he has mentored one PhD student and over 33 M-Tech dissertations, and currently guides two PhD candidates. Dr. Marriwala has authored 10+ books, published 35+ international journal papers, and presented 30+ conference papers. He holds 8 patents and has chaired sessions at 22+ conferences, delivered 70+ invited talks, and organized multiple conferences.
He has been Chairman of Special Sessions at more than 22 International/National Conferences and has delivered a keynote address at more than 09 International conferences. He has also acted as organizing secretary for more than 07 International conferences and 01 National Conference. He has delivered more than 70 Invited Talks/ Guest Lectures in leading Universities/Colleges PAN India. He is the editor of more than 10 book proceedings with Springer and guest editor for the special session in Journal Measurement and Sensors, Elsevier. He is also the reviewer for many reputed journals. He has been awarded as the NPTEL ENTHUSIASTS for the year 2019-2020 by NPTEL IIT, Madras. He has also been awarded the “Career Guru of the Month” award by Aspiring Minds. He has also been awarded as Active SPOC and NPTEL’s brand ambassador from 2019-2022. Dr. Marriwala has received several prestigious awards, including the "Outstanding Achievement Award" by the Engineered Science Society (ESS), USA, and iDEAAS for his contributions to research and academic excellence at iDEAAS-2024 in Malaysia. Elsevier has honored him for his contributions to open science and research addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and as a Highly Valued Guest Editor for the Journal Measurement: Sensors. Additionally, he was awarded the Research Excellence Award 2023 at the Vishwa Intellectual Property Right Conclave in Pune. He serves as the SPOC for NPTEL and Infosys campus connect programs and is the Training and Placement Officer at UIET. An editor and reviewer for reputed journals, his research spans wireless communications, IoT, blockchain, AR/VR, and more. Recognized for his academic contributions, his dedication to academia, innovative research, and leadership make him a distinguished figure in Engineering and Technology.
Dr Vinod Kumar Shukla is currently working with Amity University, Dubai, U.A.E., as Associate Professor and Head of Academics for the Engineering Architecture and Interior Design department. He has more than 15 years of experience. He has completed his PhD in “Semantic Web and Ontology” and is an active member of IEEE. He has appeared in the prestigious Stanford's list, USA of top 2% of scientists for in 2022. He has authored 100+ research publications in journals, book chapters and Conferences, and have 500+ plus Scopus citations. He has edited books in the field of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Industry 4.0 and Healthcare, and People Analytics. He is the recipient of various awards such as the “Global Academic Excellence Award- 2021”, “Faculty Achievement Award” under the category of research publication in continuous two years 2021, 2022, “Best Paper Award” in the International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Data Science Application- 2020”. His research area includes cyber security, the Internet of Things, and Blockchain. Currently, he is working on the books and exploring the transition of technologies and their possible impact from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0.
Dr Shruti Jain is an Associate Dean (Innovation) and Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, H.P, India. She has received her Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering. She has teaching experience of around 19 years. She has filed nine patents, of which two have been granted and seven are published. She has published more than 28 book chapters and 130 research papers in reputed indexed journals (with IF ~ 70) and in international conferences. She has also published 16 books. She has completed two government-sponsored projects. She has guided 07 Ph.D. students and now has 05 registered students. She has also guided 11 M. Tech scholars and more than 110 B. Tech undergrads. She has organized 12 conferences of IEEE and Springer as Conference General Chair. Her research interests are Image and Signal Processing, Soft Computing, Internet-of-Things, Pattern Recognition, Bio-inspired Computing, and Computer-Aided Design of FPGA and VLSI circuits. She is a senior member of IEEE, Executive member of IEEE Delhi Section, life member and Executive member of Biomedical Engineering Society of India, and a member of IAENG. She is a member of the Editorial Board of many reputed journals. She is also a reviewer of many journals and a member of TPC of different conferences. She was awarded the Nation Builder Award in 2018-19 and enlisted in 2% scientist of world rankings of 2021 and 2023 published by Elsevier, data compiled by Stanford University.
Prof. Dinesh Kumar completed B.Tech. from IIT Madras and Ph.D. from IIT Delhi and is Professor at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. He is a Fellow of Australasian Institute of Digital Health. He has published over 400 papers, authored 8 books, and is on a range of Australian and international committees for Biomedical Engineering. His passion is for affordable diagnostics and making a difference for his students. His work has been cited over 8400 times, and he has also had multiple successes with technology translation. He is Member of Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA), Ministry of Health (Australia) for medical devices. He is also on the editorial boards for IEEE Transactions of Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering and Biomedical Signals and Controls. He has been Chair of large number of conferences and given over 50 keynotes speeches.
Dr Sunil Dhingra is currently serving as Dean of Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra, and Director of University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET), KUK. He completed his Ph.D. in the area of Semiconductor Electronics and Instrumentation. He is also having the charge of Proctor and Chief Vigilance Officer at Kurukshetra University. He is constantly at fore front lines for students and for their careers; he is serving as a Professor Incharge, Kurukshetra University Centre for Training, internship and employment. He also held roles such as Director of IT Cell and Chairman of the Department of Instrumentation in the past. His primary aim is always to make various institutions of university to be recognized as a globally centre of academic excellence.
