College (affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith), Varanasi, India. Driven by her passion for scientific exploration, she pursued her Ph.D. from prestigious Banaras Hindu University at Varanasi, India. To enhance her research skills, Dr. Srivastava continued her academic journey with a postdoctoral position at the University of Delhi, India.
Dr. Srivastava's primary research focus lies in uncovering the complex mechanisms of bacterial pathogenesis. She is also involved in exploring how xenobiotic compounds influence the immune system of vertebrates.
Dr. Manmohan Kumar is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas 78229, USA. Before this, he worked as a postdoc scholar at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in California (U.S.A.). He is currently engaged in investigating the development and function of tissue-resident lymphocytes in skin homeostasis and inflammation. He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. in Zoology from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, Delhi. Dr. Kumar has earned his doctorate from the Department of Zoology, University of Delhi, India. Dr. Kumar has investigated the role of Toll-like receptor 22 (TLR22) in microbial pathogenesis in fish macrophages. His major areas of research interest include bacterial pathogenesis, TLR biology, cell death signaling, and tissue-resident lymphocytes. He has published 10 research articles, 2 review articles in reputable international peer-reviewed journals, and 2 book chapters with an h-index of 7, which have been well-received in the scientific community.
