Marcos Kauffman, LLB Hons, FIKE, Ph.D., is Professor in technology and innovation management, currently serving as Director of the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (AME) and the Research Centre Director for the Research Centre of Manufacturing and Materials (CMM) at Coventry University. With a strong academic background and over 15 years of experience in senior roles across the UK automotive manufacturing industry, Professor Kauffman has successfully led and delivered numerous cross-disciplinary research, technology development, innovation, and commercialisation projects. Since joining AME in 2016, Professor Kauffman has overseen over 20 grant funded research projects spanning digital transformation, manufacturing business model innovation, new-product introduction, IP management in manufacturing and digital twins. His work has spanned various sectors, technologies, and disciplines, integrating academic research and commercialisation activities with applied industrial solutions.
