Bao-Jie HE is Professor of Urban Climate and Sustainable Built Environment at School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Chongqing University. Baojie is also Adjunct Associate Professor at University of Queensland, Australia, and Research Fellow at Hiroshima University, Japan. Baojie He was Postdoc Research Fellow and Ph.D. Researcher, at UNSW Sydney, Australia. Baojie is working on the technologies of cool cities and communities and net zero carbon built environment. Baojie has published more than 200 peer-reviewed papers. Baojie is Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor of several reputable international journals. Baojie received the Highly Cited Researcher Title (Clarivate) from 2022 onwards.
 
Ali Cheshmehzangi is Professor and Head of the School of Architecture, Design, and Planning at The University of Queensland. He is Top 2% Field Leader among the top 25 global scholars in the urban sustainability research area and is the Editor-in-Chief of Springer’s “Urban Sustainability” book series. Ali has collaborated with major international and national organizations and leading industry partners globally. To date, Ali has published over 500 journal papers, articles, conference papers, book chapters, and reports. He also has 39 other academic books, three of which have received multiple awards.
 
Prof. Dr. Shady Attia is the Professor of sustainable architecture and building technology at the University of Liège, Belgium. He leads the Sustainable Building Design Lab, founded in 2014, focusing on overheating risks in residential buildings and the urban heat island effect’s impact on health. His research promotes nature-based solutions, human comfort, and well-being in buildings and cities.
 
Dr. Amos Darko is Assistant Professor in the Department of Construction Management at the University of Washington. He is Highly Cited and Highly Ranked Researcher in green building and sustainability. He has completed several sustainability-related projects and has been awarded numerous research grants and awards. He won the prestigious Sustainability 2023 Young Investigator Award from the Sustainability journal in 2024 and the Green Talents Award from the Cabinet-Level German Federal Ministry of Education and Research in 2020. He completed his Ph.D. research project in 2019 at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, developing strategies and models for promoting the adoption of green building technologies. He is ranked among the world’s top 2% and top 0.05% scientists by Stanford University and ScholarGPS, respectively. He is also ranked as World's #1 Green Building Scholar by ScholarGPS. 
 
Cristina Piselli is the Lecturer at the Department of Architecture (DIDA), University of Florence, Italy. She holds a master degree in Building Engineering—Architecture and a Ph.D. in energy and sustainable development from University of Perugia, Italy. She is working in environmental applied physics and building physics. She has participated in several national and international projects aimed at promoting the energy transition through building energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and human well-being in the built environment, including various European H2020 projects. Currently, she participates in the LIFE ESCAPOS project. Up to 2021, she was Member of the Environmental Applied Physics Laboratory (EAP Lab) research team at the University of Perugia and she is continuing to collaborate with this group.
