Katharina Bässler ist Referentin für Gender und Diversity an der Hochschule München, wo sie sich für eine gleichstellungsstarke und diskriminierungskritische Hochschulkultur einsetzt und unter anderem die Erstanlaufstelle Antidiskriminierung leitet. Als Soziologin und Diversity-Trainerin initiiert und begleitet sie Sensibilisierungs- und Empowerment-Angebote, die Diversität fördern und Chancengleichheit erlebbar machen. Sie studierte Politikwissenschaft und Soziologie in Augsburg und Oslo und absolvierte ihren Master in Soziologie mit dem Schwerpunkt „Geschlecht, Kultur, Differenz“ an der LMU München.
