This book presents best-selected papers presented at the 7th International Conference on Smart Computing and Informatics (SCI 2025), held at the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Sunway University, Selangor, Malaysia, during 8 – 9 April 2025. It presents advanced and multidisciplinary research towards the design of smart computing and informatics. The theme is on a broader front and focuses on various innovation paradigms in system knowledge, intelligence and sustainability that may be applied to provide realistic solutions to varied problems in society, environment and industries. The scope is also extended towards the deployment of emerging computational and knowledge transfer approaches, optimizing solutions in various disciplines of science, technology and healthcare. The work is published in four volumes.

Vikrant Bhateja is associate professor in Department of Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (UNSIET), Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is also serving as Head: Computer Sc. Engg. & Information Technology in the same university. He holds a doctorate in ECE (Bio-Medical Imaging) with a total academic teaching experience of 21 years with around 190 publications in reputed international conferences, journals and online book chapter contributions; out of which 40 papers are published in SCIE indexed high impact factored journals. One of his papers published in Review of Scientific Instruments (RSI) Journal (under American International Publishers) has been selected as “Editor Choice Paper of the Issue'' in 2016. He has been Editor-in-Chief of IGI Global--International Journal of Natural Computing and Research (IJNCR) journal from 2017-22. He is guest editor in journals like: Elsevier: Measurement, Springer: Evolutionary Intelligence. He is Senior Member of IEEE and Life Member of CSI.
Angela Lee Siew Hoong is Deputy Dean (Employability & Alumni) at the School of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University, Malaysia. Prof Angela Lee has been developing data science curriculum more than 10 years, and she is the key person to introduce Data Science degree at Sunway University. She was recently awarded the National Outstanding Educator Award and SAS Global Forum Distinguished Educator Award for Asia Pacific Category. She regularly speaks at data science conferences. Angela has developed many innovative ways to use analytics and data science tools from the most elementary level to advanced analytics. She teaches Social Media Analytics, Visual Analytics, Advanced Analytics and Business Intelligence and has authored many published international journals in the area of churn analytics, sentiment analysis and predictive analytics.
Jude Dzevela Kong is a Canada Research Chair in Community-Oriented Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Disease. He is also a professor in the Dalla Lana School of Public Health cross-appointed to the Mathematics Department and Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, University of Toronto, where he serves as the director of the Artificial Intelligence and Mathematical Modelling lab (AIMM lab). He is an Editor for Data & Policy Journal; Royal Society Science; Scientific Reports, and Big Data and Information Analytics.
Shabana Urooj (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering and the M.Tech. degree in Electrical (Instrumentation and Control) from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, in 1998 and 2003, respectively. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Instrumentation from Electrical Engineering Department, Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), Delhi, India. She has guided seven Ph. Ds and more than 65 M.Tech. dissertations. She has authored and co- authored more than 120 research articles, which are published in high quality international journals and reputed conference proceedings. She is serving as a member of the Standing Committee on Technical and Professional Development Activities of IEEE Delhi Section. She is currently holding the responsibility of the Joint Secretary of the IEEE Delhi Section, and she is the Chairperson of Educational Activities of the IEEE Delhi Section.
