Dr. Mohamed A. Mosa is currently working as a senior researcher at Plant Pathology Research Institute, Agricultural Research Center (ARC), Egypt. He was granted a scholarship to study his Ph.D. at Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular de Plantas (IBMCP), Polytechnic University of Valencia (CSIC-UPV), Spain. His research has focused on mycology, molecular plant pathology and nanobiotechnology. Dr. Mosa's groundbreaking work has resulted in a one issued patent to his credit from the United States Patent and Trademark Office, 2023. He constructed an ultra-sensitive nanosensor microbial detection device. He has many international publications, including high impact papers, book chapters, and a published book. Dr. Mosa has been awarded “The Award of Excellence” in “Innovative Nanotechnology” by the UPV, Spain in 2015. He has also received the Excellence and Recognition Award from the Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation in 2019.

Dr. Synan AbuQamar earned his PhD from the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology at Purdue University, Indiana, USA, where he also completed his postdoctoral training. Since 2019, he has served as a professor at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). Dr. AbuQamar focuses on elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms of plant immunity, particularly in response to necrotrophic pathogens. His research centers economically significant crops such as tomato and date palm to better understand host-pathogen interactions. With over 125 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, Prof. AbuQamar is internationally recognized for his significant contributions to plant molecular biology and plant pathology. Acknowledging his global impact, Prof. AbuQamar has been consistently ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, as recognized by Stanford University.
