Dr. Wu obtained his PhD degree from Tsinghua University. Prof. Wu is a Professor at City University of Hong Kong in the School of Energy and the Environment. His research is focused on building energy and sustainability technologies (BEST) towards carbon neutrality, including advanced heat pumps, novel working fluids, thermal energy storage, advanced thermal management, renewable energy utilization, and net-zero energy buildings. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed papers, obtained/filed 23 CN/US patents, and published a Springer Nature book. Prof. Wu is among the Top 2% Most Highly Cited Scientists Worldwide by Stanford University. He has an H-index of 36 (Google Scholar). He received the Willis H. Carrier Young Researcher Award of the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), the Distinguished Associate Award of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the Excellent Young Scholar Award of Energy and Built Environment, the HVAC Distinguished Young Scholar Award, and the Academic New Talent of Tsinghua University. He won two Gold Medals at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva and four Gold Medals at the Asian International Innovative Invention Exhibition. He is an editorial board member of several SCI journals.Zhixiong Ding is a postdoctoral fellow at City University of Hong Kong. His research direction is efficient utilization of low-grade energy, focusing on absorption thermal energy storage toward carbon neutrality. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers and obtained/filed 8 CN/US patents. He has participated in more than 20 HVAC engineering projects. He received the Distinguished PhD Candidate Award of Energy and Built Environment, the Outstanding Academic Performance Award for Research Degree Students at City University of Hong Kong (3 times), and Environmental Paper Award at the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). He won the Gold Medal at the Asian International Innovative Invention Exhibition. He is an editorial board member of several SCI journals.Yunren Sui is a postdoctoral fellow at City University of Hong Kong. His research is focused on efficient utilization of low-grade energy, focusing on absorption thermal energy storage toward carbon neutrality. He has published 20 peer-reviewed papers, and obtained/filed 4 CN/US patents, and participated in more than 20 HVAC engineering projects. Dr. Sui has received the Outstanding Academic Performance Award for Research Degree Students at City University of Hong Kong (2 times), and was awarded Gold Medal at the Asian International Innovative Invention Exhibition. He is an editorial board member of several SCI journals.
