The Fundamentals of UX Writing explores the topic of microcopy - what it is, why it matters, and how to craft effective, user-friendly text for digital experiences. We will start by looking at what microcopy is and what it does. Then we’ll dive into the best practices that enable stakeholders to write better microcopy, faster. Later, we’ll talk about exceptions to the rules. Real life examples throughout the book make the content clear and memorable.

We will look at not overloading users with information or alienating them with jargon or idioms, as well as how to design great calls to action (CTAs) and improve navigation. We will also talk about setting up content hierarchy, localization beyond translation, and accessibility requirements.
