Das vorliegende Buch geht der Fragestellung nach, inwiefern sich Design-Thinking-Methoden in ihrem Grad der Anleitung (Scaffolding) unterscheiden und damit eher schnelles (Typ 1) oder langsames (Typ 2) Denken anregen. Dabei liegt das Interesse der durchgeführten empirischen Untersuchungen darin, Methoden, die sich im instruktionspsychologischen Kontext bewährt haben, zu identifizieren (Studie 1) und die Zusammenhänge mit kognitiven, sozialen und motivationalen Prozessdimensionen aus Sicht der Probanden (Studie 2) sowie mit objektiv feststellbaren innovativen Produktdimensionen (Studie 3) zu überprüfen.
