Dieses Buch greift mit der Selbst- und Fremdpositionierung von Menschen mit Behinderung (MmB) in Online-Diskursen ein gesellschaftlich äußerst wichtiges Thema auf. Der Autor konzentriert sich auf die Analyse sprachlicher und nichtsprachlicher Mittel, mit denen sich MmB in deutsch- und polnischsprachigen Online-Diskursen selbst positionieren bzw. positioniert werden und setzt sich zum Ziel, soziale und kommunikative Positionierungspraktiken von und über MmB im deutsch- und polnischsprachigen digitalen Diskurs in den sozialen Medien zu erfassen, zu analysieren und zu beschreiben. Auf dieser Grundlage wird ein multimodales Analysemodell medialer Positionierungspraktiken (MAMP) vorgeschlagen, das sowohl die technische als auch die hypertextuelle, kommunikative und textuelle Charakteristik des Social Web und der Social Media berücksichtigt.
