Der Ableitungsbegriff gilt als eines der zentralen und zugleich anspruchsvollsten Themen der Schulmathematik. Die vorliegende Studie untersucht, inwiefern interaktiv gestaltete dynamische Visualisierungen mit GeoGebra die Einführung des Ableitungsbegriffs im Vergleich zu statischen Visualisierungen unterstützen. Auf Grundlage einer Interventionsstudie mit 274 Schülerinnen und Schülern der gymnasialen Oberstufe werden Effekte auf das Verständnis, auf die zentralen Grundvorstellungen der lokalen Änderungsrate und der Tangentensteigung sowie auf Einstellungen gegenüber der Software GeoGebra analysiert. Die Ergebnisse liefern empirische Befunde zur Wirksamkeit dynamischer Visualisierungen.
