Tamás Mankovits is a Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Debrecen, Hungary. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and is pursuing the “dr. habil.” qualification in Mechanical Engineering Sciences. His research focuses on solid mechanics, material performance, and structural optimization, with notable contributions to the study of metallic foams and the optimization of automotive rubber components. He has published extensively in engineering optimization, finite element analysis, and numerical modeling, and is actively engaged in industry-oriented engineering education.
Natasa Trisovic is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia, specializing in theoretical and applied mechanics, fatigue, FEM, and vibrations. She has been a guest professor at institutions in Europe and the USA, and participated in major international projects including the EUREKA AWAST program. Author of over 10 ISI journal papers and 60+ conference papers, she is a member of ESIS, DIVK, and secretary of the Serbian Society of Mechanics. She received the 2005 Innovation Award from the Assembly of Belgrade Municipality.
