Birger Petersen is Professor of Music Theory at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz. His work focuses on the history of music theory, organ music and contemporary music.
Nico Schüler is University Distinguished Professor of Music Theory and Musicology at Texas State University. His main research interests are interdisciplinary aspects of 19th through 21st century musics and computational music research.
