This book is an exceptional high-level work that delves into the timely research of quantum information with single photons. Dr. Teodor Strömberg in particular studied a variety of topics of indefinite causal order in quantum mechanics including techniques to create and characterize such processes more efficiently. It is one of the best structured and most pedagogically written theses he has read. Teodor Strömberg completed his undergraduate studies in Engineering Physics at Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, Sweden. He received his PhD in experimental quantum optics from the University of Vienna in 2024, having co-authored six peer-reviewed publications. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria, working on hybrid quantum systems and tabletop tests of gravity using optomechanics.
