Sudip Mondal received his Ph.D. in 2015 from the CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute and the National Institute of Technology Durgapur, India. He then joined the Autonomous University of Puebla, Mexico, as a Postdoctoral Fellow (2015–2017), and subsequently worked as a Research Professor at Pukyong National University, South Korea (2017–2023). Dr. Mondal is currently serving as a full-time Assistant Professor at Pukyong National University, specializing in Photomedicine. His groundbreaking work in photothermal and photodynamic therapies has significantly advanced the field of disease treatment. His research interests include the synthesis of nanostructured materials, bioimaging, and various biomedical applications such as cancer therapy and tissue engineering.

Dr. Prodyut Dhar is currently working as an Associate Professor in the School of Biochemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) BHU, Varanasi. His core areas of expertise include the design of smart and biodegradable polymers, protein-based biocomposites, bionanotechnology, and green materials, controlled-release systems, packaging, and sustainable agriculture. At IIT (BHU), he leads the Laboratory of Chem-Biosystems and Technologies, where his interdisciplinary team works on cutting-edge innovations such as 3D-printed food scaffolds, nanocellulose-based films, and biodegradable composites. Dr. Dhar has published more than 50 peer-reviewed research papers in top international journals, also contributed several book chapters and filed patents on biodegradable straws, bagasse-based tableware, and textile coatings. He holds several national and international honors, awards and fellowships. He currently holds two prestigious fellowships Har Govind Khorana-Innovative Young Biotechnologist Fellowship and Ramalingaswami Fellowship and was awarded prestigious Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Postdoctoral Fellowship (2018–2020), allowing him to pursue advanced research in forest and biomaterial sciences at Kyoto University, Japan. Through his translational research and innovation-driven pedagogy, Dr. Dhar remains committed to addressing global sustainability challenges through science and engineering. He welcomes collaborative opportunities across disciplines and industries, aiming to develop smart, eco-friendly technologies for a better future.

Junghwan Oh received the B.S. degree in Mechanical engineering from Pukyong National University in 1992, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Biomedical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, USA, in 2003 and 2007, respectively. In 2010, he joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Pukyong National University, where he is a Full Professor. He also serves as CEO of OhLabs Corporation. His current research interests include ultrasonic-based diagnostic imaging modalities for biomedical engineering applications, biomedical signal processing and health care systems.
