Horse Rescue

Of all animals, horses are believed to have the greatest ability to mirror human emotions, and their natural empathy can be a powerful antidote to human stress. In horses that have been rescued, the ability to connect and give back to those who saved them is heightened.
In Horse Rescue we meet Sue Spence, who founded Horses Helping Humans as a result of rescuing little Larry, a pony who helped her through the healing stages of breast cancer and led her to change her life direction. There's Rebel Morrow, whose journey to the Sydney Olympics with her rescued horse, Groover, is nothing short of miraculous; and Michael Williams, in and out of prison for twelve years and finally seeing some light through the Horses for Hope program. These, and twelve other rescuers celebrate the special bonds and unique experiences they have witnessed and share what they have learned from their equine companions.
