Ulrich Heisterkamp untersucht aus vergleichender Perspektive das Potential und die Leistungsprofile der deutschen politischen Stiftungen als Think Tanks. Er leistet damit einen wichtigen Beitrag nicht nur zum Verständnis der parteinahen Stiftungen als Besonderheit des deutschen Politiksystems, sondern auch von Think Tanks im Allgemeinen.
