Brigitte Seiler identifiziert in ihrer pluridisziplinär angelegten empirischen Studie Wirkfaktoren menschlicher Veränderungsprozesse mittels hermeneutischer und qualitativ-sozialwissenschaftlicher Verfahren und überführt diese in das „Modell interaktionaler Veränderungsprozesse (ModiV)“. Axial gegliedert unterstützt das ModiV eine systematische Erfassung und Gestaltung von Veränderungsprozessen in Psychotherapie, Pädagogik und Beratung und berücksichtigt situative Verarbeitungsmöglichkeiten ebenso wie biografische Spuren und einflussnehmende Bedingungen. Ergänzt durch extrapersonale, temporale und konfigurierende Aspekte ermöglicht es die Erstellung eines individuellen Bedingungsprofils zur Förderung von Menschen.
