Mit dem Konzept der zeitflexiblen Losgrößen- und Reihenfolgeplanung zeigt Jonas Ostmeyer einen Weg auf, der von der zeitpunkt- hin zu einer zeitfensterbezogenen Planung führt. Lieferzeitfenster ermöglichen die Abbildung langfristiger volumenbasierter Aufträge in Zulieferer-Abnehmer-Kooperationen über mehrere Zeiträume. Produktionszeitfenster befähigen zur Berücksichtigung frühester Zeitpunkte, vor denen mit der Produktion nicht begonnen werden darf. Beide Konzepte helfen dabei, in Unternehmen auftretende Anwendungen praxisnah abzubilden. Zudem stellen die entwickelten Lösungsverfahren sicher, in kurzer Zeit gute Lösungen zu berechnen. Das Konzept ermöglicht somit eine Entscheidungsunterstützung in der operativen Produktionsplanung.

Dr. Jonas Ostmeyer promovierte am Lehrstuhl für Betriebswirtschaftslehre, inbes. Quantitative Methoden und Wirtschaftsmathematik an der FernUniversität in Hagen und arbeitet heute in einem Unternehmen.
