Prof. Dr. Tim Wawer lehrt Energiewirtschaft an der Hochschule Osnabrück und ist Studiengangsbeauftragter für den Masterstudiengang Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen – Energiewirtschaft am Standort Lingen (Ems). Zuvor war er in einem Energieversorgungsunternehmen tätig und hat für die Deutsche Energie-Agentur (dena) und das Ecologic Institut in Forschungsprojekten die Bundesregierung und die EU-Kommission in energiewirtschaftlichen Fragestellungen beraten. In nationalen und internationalen Forschungsprojekten untersucht er die Funktionsweise von Strommärkten und entwickelt neue Konzepte und Geschäftsmodelle in der Energiewirtschaft.
