Jodi Latremouille is a professor in the Faculty of Education at Vancouver Island University. She completed her doctorate in Educational Research at the University of Calgary. She also taught high school French Immersion and Social Studies. She has written and co-written over 20 articles and book chapters, and received a SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship, the CACS Cynthia Chambers Masters’ Thesis Award and the University of Calgary Chancellors’ Graduate Medal. Her research interests include eco-hermeneutics, ecological, Indigenous and feminist pedagogies, social and environmental justice, life writing and poetic inquiry.

Lesley Tait is a member of Michel First Nation in treaty 6 territory. She has been working and living as a guest in treaty 7 territory for 20 years. Lesley has been working in public education for over 20 years with brief leaves here and there as she pursued various learning experiences. Lesley is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Calgary and has written and co-written various chapters and articles. Lesley is also the recipient of a SSHRC Doctoral Bombardier Fellowship, the ii’taa’poh’to’p Graduate Scholarship and the Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship.

David W. Jardine is a Professor Emeritus from the Faculty of Education, University of Calgary. He is the author of 13 previous books, over 100 articles in refereed journals and 40 book chapters. He received his Ph.D. in 1982 from the University of Toronto
