Diese Arbeit analysiert Erfolgsfaktoren und Gestaltungselemente, die die Effektivität von Inhouse Consulting Units (ICUs) in deutschen Großunternehmen beeinflussen. Basierend auf einer Literaturanalyse und qualitative Interviews von Beratern und Führungskräften aus ICUs werden zentrale Erfolgsfaktoren identifiziert und praxisnahe Implikationen abgeleitet. Die Studie zeigt, wie unter anderem Autonomie, die strategische Verankerung, ein fokussiertes Leistungsportfolio und personelle Ressourcen die Wirksamkeit von ICUs positiv beeinflussen können. Die Ergebnisse liefern Handlungsempfehlungen zur Optimierung interner Beratungseinheiten.
