Ein integrativer Ansatz zur Bewertung und Gestaltung nachhaltiger Produktionssysteme

Jan-Linus Popien entwickelt mit dem entscheidungsorientierten Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (eoLCSA) einen neuen Ansatz zur Bewertung und Gestaltung von Produktionssystemen entlang der drei Nachhaltigkeitsdimensionen. Aufbauend auf Rechnungswesen und Life Cycle Management wird die ökonomische Wirkungsabschätzungsmethode DEALA samt Leitfaden entwickelt und in das eoLCSA integriert. Ziel ist eine transparente, anschlussfähige und standardnahe Entscheidungsunterstützung.
Zur Anwendung dient die Batteriewertschöpfungskette. In einer Fallstudie wird sie umfassend hinsichtlich ihrer Auswirkungen analysiert. Zudem wird ein lineares Optimierungsmodell zur Gestaltung der Batteriewertschöpfungskette unter Berücksichtigung politischer Vorgaben wie der EU-Batterieverordnung und des Critical Raw Materials Act entwickelt.
Die Ergebnisse zeigen, wie das eoLCSA als Bewertungs- und Entscheidungswerkzeug eingesetzt werden kann, um Zielkonflikte zwischen Nachhaltigkeitsdimensionen systematisch zu bewerten und Gestaltungsoptionen für Unternehmen und Politik abzuleiten.

Dr. Jan-Linus Popien promovierte bei Professor Dr. Thomas S. Spengler am Institut für Automobilwirtschaft und Industrielle Produktion der Technischen Universität Braunschweig. In seiner Forschung beschäftigte er sich mit der Integration des betrieblichen Rechnungswesens in das Life Cycle Management, dargestellt am Beispiel der Batterieindustrie.
