In Anbetracht des anhaltenden Fachkräftemangels in Deutschland rückt die gezielte Zuwanderung qualifizierter Arbeitskräfte, insbesondere im IT-Sektor, zunehmend in den Fokus migrationspolitischer Strategien und wirtschaftlicher Interessen. Die daraus resultierende Diversifikation betrieblicher Belegschaften bringt neue Anforderungen an das interkulturelle Miteinander im Unternehmensalltag mit sich – insbesondere in Form multikultureller Teamarbeit.Dieses Buch setzt an einer bislang wenig beleuchteten Schnittstelle zwischen Migrationsforschung, Diversitätsforschung und interkultureller Kommunikationsforschung an: Es fokussiert die subjektiven Perspektiven zugewanderter IT-Fachkräfte in Deutschland und deren Erfahrungen im Umgang mit kultureller Differenz im betrieblichen Kontext. Im Zentrum steht die Frage, wie kulturelle Unterschiede – sowohl gegeben als auch zugeschrieben – von diesen Fachkräften im Arbeitsalltag wahrgenommen, erlebt und bearbeitet werden.
