Steffen Silbermann entwickelt und prüft ein umfassendes Modell der Kundenbindung im Internethandel, das 16 zentrale Einflussfaktoren berücksichtigt. Auf dieser Basis ermittelt er systematisch, wie die mit der Alterung der Kunden verbundenen Änderungen in den Persönlichkeitsmerkmalen und Anforderungen zu einer veränderten Bedeutung dieser Kundenbindungsdeterminanten führen. Aus diesen Erkenntnissen leitet er Implikationen für die Gestaltung von Geschäftsbeziehungen im Internethandel ab.
