Im Rahmen einer Mixed-Methods-Untersuchung identifiziert Marie Schulte zentrale Einflussfaktoren auf die Teilnahmebereitschaft an mobilen Web-Befragungen. Als Treiber sind insbesondere das erwartete Vergnügen an einer Befragungsteilnahme sowie soziale Einflüsse anzusehen. Hemmend auf die Teilnahmebereitschaft wirkt primär der erwartete Aufwand der Teilnahme. Weiterhin wird deutlich, dass die Stärke einzelner Wirkungsbeziehungen u.a. vom Alter und Geschlecht der Smartphone-Nutzer sowie von dem in der Erhebungssituation empfundenen Zeitdruck abhängig ist. Aus den gewonnenen Erkenntnissen lassen sich zielgruppenspezifische Implikationen für eine teilnahmefördernde Ansprache potenzieller Probanden ableiten.
